What subscription plans are available?
- Annual: $29.99/year ($2.49/month) with a 3-day free trial
- Monthly: $7.99/month
Both plans include full access to all Chomp AI features: AI food scanning (up to 16 scans per day), nutrition tracking, progress monitoring, and personalized goals.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Chomp AI subscriptions are managed through Apple. To cancel:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone
- Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions
- Find Chomp AI and tap it
- Tap Cancel Subscription
Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and follow the instructions for the Chomp AI purchase.
The app isn't recognizing my subscription
If the app doesn't show your active subscription:
- Open Chomp AI and go to the paywall screen
- Tap Restore in the top-right corner
- Wait a moment for the subscription to sync
Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used to purchase the subscription. If the issue persists, contact us at support@chompai.app.
How does the food scanning work?
Chomp AI uses advanced AI to analyze photos of your food and estimate calories and macronutrients (protein, carbs, and fat). Take a photo of your meal and the app provides a nutritional breakdown in seconds. You can scan up to 16 meals per day.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account in the app by going to Settings > Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data including nutrition logs, photos, and goals. You can also request deletion on our account deletion page.
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Cancel your subscription through Apple Settings before deleting your account.
Is my data safe?
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption and secure cloud infrastructure to protect your data. Food photos are stored on Cloudflare's global network and your account data is secured with Supabase. We never sell your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
